M. Nakai Repair Service is a family owned and operated business. Masao (Poker) Nakai founded the company in Honolulu in 1945 and repaired gas pumps. In 1961, the business was incorporated and moved to 288 Mokauea St and has been there ever since. In 1972, Masao retired and the business was handed over to his sons, Earl (Masa) and Ronald. The business is now run by Earl and his son, Scott, and grandsons Reyn and Landon. We have four generations of experience in Hawaii, and we are ready to help you with all of your fuel storage and dispensing needs.
We are a specialty contractor with expertise and years of experience in every aspect of the removal and replacement of underground and above-ground fuel storage tanks and dispensing equipment. Our trained and certified technicians are ready to install and service mechanical and electronic fuel dispensing systems, electronic point of sale, fuel monitoring systems, and fleet key operation equipment.
